I bought this to improve the air quality in my home. I generally dislike palms (the big spiky ones you see outside) and wasn’t expecting to find this one so very. endearing.

I have never grown sunflowers before in my life. I bought this kit and followed the instructions. I planted 5 seeds in each provided pot, for a total of 25 seeds planted. There are more seeds provided in the kit, but I didn’t want to overcrowd them. Then I placed the pots indoors by a south-facing window.
Every single type sprouted at least one (so far) mostly 5-6 (all I planted) in that 10 days. Talk about viable seeds! I took 5-6 of each type of seed and put them in an ice cube tray, with a diagram on paper of what I put in each one. I soaked them for exactly the time specified (using a timer) in the well written and easy to understand instructions that were included.
3 days after planting, the seeds sprouted. By Day 4, today, the tallest of the seedlings is now over an inch tall. I can’t believe it!
Update: I’m having a bit of trouble keeping the smaller ones alive. They’re very fragile. The pinus and picea specifically. Anyone have any tips?
Of the 25 seeds I planted, 23 have already sprouted, and I think I can see the other two on their way up already. I live in Southern California, and the past few days have been about 75 degrees, so that could play a role in how fast the seeds sprouted.
